Movement of the Mountains and Seas: Now, Then, Here, There is a creative workshop exploring how ancient mythology can resonate with contemporary political and environmental realities.

Led by multidisciplinary artist Tash Tung and writer-performer Daniel York Loh, the session invites participants to experiment with movement, physical enactment and filmmaking inspired by the classical Chinese text Shan Hai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Seas).

Through collaborative exercises, participants explore themes such as climate change, activism and mythological imagination. Open to all levels, the workshop encourages participants to translate ideas from myth and contemporary experience into embodied performance and visual storytelling.
