Every Dollar is a Soldier / With Money You’re a Dragon is an experimental digital performance that blends spoken word, music, choreography and virtual technology to explore migration, wealth and belonging. Set within a virtual gallery environment, audiences navigate the space as avatars, guided through a sequence of performances that combine poetry, live music and movement.

The work juxtaposes the story of William Waldorf Astor, the immigrant founder of Two Temple Place, with the experiences of early Chinese migrants in London. Through this layered narrative, the project reflects on power, status and displacement, examining how money, migration and social perception shape ideas of home and identity.
