Low Carbon Chinatown: Pop-Up Sit-Down Tastings invites audiences to experience a communal meal that explores the relationship between food culture and climate action. Guests are served a series of low-carbon Chinese dishes developed in collaboration with East and Southeast Asian communities, food writers and data scientists.

Alongside the tasting, participants encounter visualisations and discussions revealing the carbon footprint of ingredients and cooking processes. The event combines food, design and dialogue to encourage reflection on how everyday choices around sourcing, cooking and eating can contribute to more sustainable and culturally meaningful food systems.
