Stay Connected was a digital festival strand developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Bringing together artists from the 2019 and 2020 Chinese Arts Now Festivals, the programme provided a platform for artists to share and develop their work during a period of social distancing and restricted public gatherings.

A total of 30 artists were commissioned to present new works, share existing projects or showcase works in progress. The programme included film screenings, artist talks, interactive workshops and live-streamed performances. By creating an online space for exchange and presentation, Stay Connected supported continued artistic dialogue and audience engagement during a time of significant disruption to the cultural sector.
