Phase is an interactive digital artwork that explores the transformation of the micro-quantum world into the observable reality of everyday life. Through evolving visual patterns rendered in the style of digital Chinese ink painting, the work responds to interaction via smartphone or computer, generating a unique experience for each participant.

Drawing on the concept of the observer effect in physics, the artwork reflects how acts of observation shape outcomes and possibilities. Inspired by contemporary theories of computational universe models alongside Daoist philosophy, Phase considers how simple underlying rules may give rise to complex and infinite forms.
