Pianist Belle Chen presents Global Soundscapes, a performance that brings together classical repertoire, electronics, sound design and improvisation to evoke landscapes and locations across the world.

Moving between the Mediterranean, Istanbul and Central Java, the programme reflects Chen’s cross-disciplinary approach to contemporary performance and concert presentation.

The work forms part of a double bill at LSO St Luke’s on 25 January, alongside Tangram. The performance also incorporates scent design by perfumery collective Les Flâneurs, extending the auditory experience through fragrance and creating a multi-sensory environment.
