Drifting Sound: Echoes Across Tides
Dungi Sapor UK Tour
June 2026
Indigenous voices, reimagined through rhythm and electronic sound.
From live performance and club nights to listening sessions and conversations, Drifting Sound: Echoes Across Tidesbrings together a series of events led by Amis (Pangcah) artist, DJ and producer Dungi Sapor. Moving across Sheffield, Bristol and London, the tour explores how Indigenous voices can travel through contemporary sound and collective experience.
Blending Taiwanese Amis vocal traditions with experimental electronic music, Dungi transforms voice into rhythm, texture and atmosphere—creating immersive encounters where ancestral memory and contemporary club culture meet. Joined by dancers, DJs, artists and collaborators, each event unfolds in a different form: from high-energy performances and dance floors to intimate listening and shared reflection.
Across the tour, sound becomes a way of tracing connections across geographies, cultures and generations—inviting audiences to gather, listen and move together.
